THE MODERN MAN WITH MANY TALENTS
In order to capture Alvin Lustig’s presence, I had to think about his style, his motives, and his objectives towards design. I had done an extensive research to actually produce all the copy that is seen within the magazine spreads. In these spreads, I had focused on writing about his style, his impact on the design world, and his philosophy. My motive was to design these spreads to initially cater to Lustig and emphasize how he used certain elements. I wanted the spreads to have his presence, these spreads were made for him and to emphasize his style. I would make them as unique as possible and really make them resemble Lustig. I would incorporate colors he had used in his works as well as shapes. The article would present Alvin Lustig’s work in an organized manner, the copy would work with the images and essentially work hand in hand.
