ALBUM REDESIGN

I wanted to capture some of Lil Uzi Vert’s beliefs and expressions when redesigning this album. Lil Uzi Vert is known for mocking and inviting death, in many of his songs that are included in this album these feelings are introduced. So I wanted to capitalize off this and somehow make it a focal point of the album. I would do this by introducing death into the album design by implementing a skull. Going off that some may describe his presence as energetic and electrifying. In one of his songs, he talks about his aura and described it as neon. Thus, being energetic and chaotic. The reasoning as to why I choose to make an 8-bit/arcade-themed album design is because it happens to be one of his favorite things. He even had a mini 8-bit character made of himself. That’s when I thought to myself that it would be really relevant and awesome to create an 8-bit/pixel art album design.
